In 2017, the National Council of SPCAs (NSPCA) and kulula.com joined forces to facilitate the transportation of the NSPCA’s Inspectors by air on a national scale for a period of 12 months.

Kulula.com has renewed the partnership with the NSPCA for a further 12 months where flights will be provided to the NSPCA’s Inspectors to attend to animals in need of the NSPCA’s intervention.

The initiation of this partnership began during the Knysna and Eastern Cape Fires in June last year where Kulula.com assisted the NSPCA with free flights to the fire-stricken areas to assist animals that had been detrimentally affected.

“The last year has been a great journey to partner with the NSPCA and to assist them with flights so that they can continue the great work that they do in terms of looking after the welfare and needs of the many distressed animals within South Africa. As their partner, we would like to encourage all South Africans to take care of their furry friends, whilst increasing awareness around assisting the many other animals in desperate need of care,” says Luane Lavery, Brand Communications Manager for kulula.com.

Meg Wilson of the NSPCA said: “We are sincerely grateful for the renewal of this partnership. The NSPCA was able to save a great deal of money and time with the assistance from kulula.com last year and with the financial restrictions that we are currently facing, we are now able to assist more animals.”

Thank you Kulula.com, with you we can do more.
