9. NSPCA Online Donations Terms of Use

9.1. Detailed Description Of Goods And/Or Services – THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF SPCAs is a business in the welfare environment that promotes animal welfare and prevents cruelty.
9.2. Donor Privacy Policy – THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF SPCAs shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA) available on this web site.
9.3. Refunds Policy – Donations are not refundable except at the discretion of the NATIONAL COUNCIL OF SPCAs.
9.4. Payment Options Accepted – Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express credit cards or by bank transfer into the NATIONAL COUNCIL OF SPCAs bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.
9.5. Credit Card Acquiring And Security – Credit card transactions will be acquired for THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF SPCAs via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. 9.7. Merchant Outlet Country And Transaction Currency – The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

We invite you to join the NSPCA on Social Media – by interacting with the NSPCA on all Social Media platforms, please be aware that you agree to the following:

  1. Hate speech, verbal abuse, blasphemy, racism and any form of cursing are prohibited.
  2. Personal attacks on NSPCA staff members will not be tolerated. Any complaints must be formally submitted to nspca@nspca.co.za
  3. Defamatory or libellous comments will not be tolerated.
  4. Ambush marketing, which is illegal in South Africa, is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: the promotion of personal services, the sale of products and promotion of the business or other organisations without the express written permission of the NSPCA.
