Training Cruelty Investigation Officers
The NSPCA is committed to animal protection and strives towards a kinder world through training, networking, supporting and uplifting those people involved in actively improving the lives of animals in their communities.
Providing training to personnel to protect animals and enforce the law is, therefore, a vital component of our work. An SPCA Inspector has to be a highly trained, skilled and compassionate person who can deal with both people and animals and an intensive training process, therefore, needs to be followed.
Inspectors receive ongoing training throughout their careers and the NSPCA ensures that courses for Inspectors and Senior Inspectors are regularly updated, reviewed, and revised to ensure that high standards are maintained. This includes the development and production of training materials, manuals, and presentations.
Your support will help us train more people in animal welfare.
