Relief for Dogs and Cats

The NSPCA promotes animal welfare education and responsible pet ownership training for the benefit of both animals and people. Through outreach programmes in the poorer areas of our country, particularly rural areas, we assist with primary health care, humane handling and housing and educate owners on responsible and humane care of their companion animals.

Education is a key component of our work in communities. In educating animal owners our outreach projects aim to encourage compassion and kindness and improve the lives of animals and provide much-needed assistance to people who often have no access to veterinarians.
