VETCARE Calmcare Spot-On for Dogs and Puppies is a clinically proven pheromone-based solution designed to calm, comfort, and reassure dogs, helping to reduce unwanted behaviors and anxiety. By replicating the natural dog-appeasing pheromone produced by a nursing mother, the spot-on creates feelings of safety and reassurance, making it especially valuable when bringing home a new dog or during stressful experiences such as travel, kenneling, thunderstorms, fireworks, or exposure to unfamiliar environments. This treatment can reduce common behavioral issues like excessive barking, destructive behavior, urinary marking, licking or scratching, hiding, and general anxiety. Suitable for dogs of all breeds, the spot-on does not sedate pets, does not affect other animals in the household, and can be used alongside existing medications. Each pipette contains 1 ml of solution, providing up to a week of protection, with weekly reapplication recommended. Application is simple: part the hair between the ears, apply the pipette directly to the skin, and allow it to dry. The product should not be used on damaged skin, and bathing or heavy rain may reduce efficacy.
