These Terms and Conditions govern all purchases made through the NSPCA’s online store. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by the following:

General

  1. All products are sold by the National Council of SPCAs (NSPCA), a registered non-profit organisation in South Africa.
  2. The NSPCA reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Disclaimer: Product Endorsement & Brand Association

  1. Products offered through this online store are sourced from third-party suppliers. The NSPCA does not manufacture, own, or control the brands made available.
  2. The inclusion of any product or brand on the NSPCA’s online store does not constitute or imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with the NSPCA.
  3. The NSPCA’s role is limited to facilitating purchases and fundraising through this initiative, and products are provided “as available” from suppliers.

Product Availability

  1. All products are subject to availability.
  2. Should a product be out of stock with our supplier, we will contact you to suggest a suitable alternative of equal or similar value.
  3. If no replacement product is acceptable to you, the NSPCA reserves the right to cancel that part of the order and provide you with a store credit.

Delivery

  1. Deliveries are fulfilled on a right-on-time basis. While every effort is made to deliver promptly, please allow 5–7 working days for delivery within South Africa.
  2. Delivery times are estimates only and the NSPCA shall not be held liable for delays beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier delays, courier disruptions, or force majeure events.
  3. Delivery fees, where applicable, will be clearly displayed at checkout.

Returns, Refunds and Exchanges

  1. Please note that all products sold through this initiative are non-returnable and non-refundable.
  2. Once an order has been processed, it cannot be cancelled or altered.
  3. This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA).

Pricing and Payment

  1. All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
  2. The NSPCA reserves the right to adjust prices without prior notice, but no changes will affect confirmed orders already placed.
  3. Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase. Orders will not be dispatched until payment has cleared.

Liability

  1. To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, the NSPCA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product.
  2. Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Intellectual Property

  1. All intellectual property rights in relation to product descriptions, images, logos, and related content remain the property of the NSPCA.
  2. No reproduction, distribution, or modification is permitted without prior written consent.

Governing Law

  1. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
  2. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
